コレクション: Emeralds

Emerald is the birthstone of May.

With its rich green color, emerald gemstones were first mined by Egyptians 3,000 years ago on what is now called Mount Zabargad near Alexandria. The Egyptian mines were depleted shortly after their discovery, which led to exploration elsewhere until new deposits were discovered during the 19th century in Colombia.

The gemstone's color is determined by how much iron it contains; more iron will create darker greens. They are often used as engagement rings because they symbolize love, harmony, and balance.

However you decide to gift this gemstone to yourself or someone else, know that it is a sentimental piece to be treasured forever with its deep meaning.
